Artist's Statement
The Kensington & Norwood City Band Inc. (K&N Brass) has a proud history of community music-making in South Australia since its inception in 1898.
Formatted as a traditional British brass band, K&N has strong links with the brass music world both within Australia and internationally, and is a recognised ‘name’ in the worldwide banding fraternity.
Competing in A-grade, K&N has won the Australian National Band Championships on three occasions and maintains its position as Adelaide’s premier brass band.
